This solid Walnut cutting board measures a full 16" x 9" and is 1.5 inches thick. We prefer the thick cutting boards as opposed to the thin ones available on the market because the bulk of wood gives you a sense of security and comfort when cutting. This one is a real beauty and would look great on a white formica or marble countertop. It has four non-marring rubber feet attached with stainless steel screws to prevent rust. All of the Vermont cutting boards are pre-treated with pure mineral oil before they leave their shop.
