This edge grain cutting board is the perfect "all around" size. It's not too big for those cloves of garlic and it's not too small for that roast that needs carving. (o.k. if it's a large roast, I would check out the 20" x 14" cutting board). This board measures 16" x 9" and is 1.5" thick and weighs in at over 7 lbs. It comes with non-marring rubber feet attached by stainless steel screws to prevent rust. All of our Vermont cutting boards are pre-treated with mineral oil before they leave the shop.
